Free 30-day Trial Terms

The Program

You (“Member” or “You”) are signing up for a free 30-day trial membership in People Leaders Club (“PLC” or “Club”), designed to help individuals improve workplace leadership and communication skills (the “Program”). The Program includes regular monthly events, held online, that may offer elements of training, coaching, and support.

Limits

The Program may address emotional issues, legal issues, or financial issues that might also be addressed by a licensed psychotherapist, attorney, or accountant respectively; however, the Club, including its agents and representatives, is not acting as a licensed psychotherapist, attorney, or accountant. If the Club recognizes that any Member in the Services would benefit from psychotherapeutic intervention, legal advice, or other additional services, Club may refer the Member to appropriate resources.

Non-Disclosure

The Parties understand that all material and/or information provided by each other is confidential and is to be treated as intellectual property (”Property”) belonging to the originating party, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by a subsequent and duly executed agreement. The Parties agree not to disclose, reveal, copy, disseminate, publish, or make unauthorized use of the Property without the expressed written consent of the originating party. The Member shall not make any recordings of the Program without expressed written consent from PLC, and the Member shall not share private or password-protected Property.

Confidentiality

a. Club is ethically bound to protect the confidentiality of all communications it has with You. Except as stated in this Agreement, PLC will not discuss or reveal any personal identifying information about you or the Services provided to You, with any third parties, including professional or personal colleagues or the media. PLC will only release information about You and the Services provided to You to third parties with your written permission or in response to a court order. You also agree not to disclose any conduct, statements, writings, outcomes, or opinions related to or made in connection with the Services or your working relationship with PLC, in any public forum, such as in the media, unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

b. There are some situations in which the Club is legally obligated to breach confidentiality in order to protect the Member or others from harm. If the Club has information that indicates that a child or an elderly or disabled person is being abused, PLC must report that to the appropriate state agency. If a Member is an imminent risk to him/herself or makes threats of imminent violence against another, PLC is required to take protective action. These situations are quite rare in consulting practices. If such a situation occurs in our relationship, the Club will make every effort to discuss it with the Member before taking further action.

c. The Program is typically held in a group format. The Member agrees to keep confidential the identities of other Club members as well as anything stated by other members during use of the Program.
